# How to custom thumbnail control button?

Hi Autunna,

To remove thumbnail controls you can use the following code to do so:

```javascript
 instance.UI.disableFeatures([instance.Feature.ThumbnailMultiselect]);

```

This uses the [disableFeatures API](https://pdfjs.express/api/UI.html#.disableFeatures__anchor) and you can find a list of [features you can disable here](https://pdfjs.express/api/UI.html#.Feature)
