How to hide and unhide thumbnail pages on button click?

Detailed description of issue
Hi there,

Do we have a functionality in pdfjs express through which we can hide or unhide the thumbnail page. When we click on an icon beside the thumbnail page , the thumbnail page should have an overlay effect indicating that the page has been hidden and vice versa.

Pls let me know if there is any pre existing way in pdfjs express for achieving this.
