# I am using a viewer express version. search is not working on few files

Search seems to be working on the provided file on the demo:

Please try updating to 8.7 version of pdf.js express

On the demo its working fine but its not working in my application and some other files search is working fine.

Were you able to reproduce the issue on the latest version 8.7?

Yes and I stopped using it for search its not reliable.
