# Is it possible to insert image as annotation programmatically?

**Which product are you using?**  
PDF express

**PDF.js Express Version**

8.7.2

**Detailed description of issue**  
I want to insert image as annotation programmatically. I have base64 data of the image  
Or if have an option to convert base64 data into xfdf format, that would be enough  
**Expected behaviour**  
Should be able to add image annotation from outside
