Hi. Can I use your lib for free on my prod site just for read-only mode pdf previewing? Will there be some your lib internal watermark or something else?

Hi there,

Thanks for contacting pdf.js express forums,

You can find the differences between the viewer and pro versions here:

> **[PDF.js License Pricing for Commercial Viewer | PDF.js Express](https://pdfjs.express/pricing)**

If you are just using the viewer package, make sure to get your license added but note that the watermark will still show up in development mode.

Best regards,
Kevin Kim

I’ve gotten your free licence key. And now i have “pdfjs express” watermark. Can I remove this watermark?
Now we are still using a paid package on this domain. In the future, we plan to use the free package. Perhaps the presence of two packages of the same domain caused the watermark to appear?

Hi there,

The pdfjs express watermark will continue to show even with a license for development environment (i.e. localhost)

You definitely do not want to have two packages (Pro & Viewer) running at the same time as this will cause issues: [Watermark still showing even with correct domain](https://pdfjs.community/t/watermark-still-showing-even-with-correct-domain/1596)

Once you make the change, please try clearing the browser & server cache as listed in this post here: [Pdfjs.express watermark despite licence key & correct domain](https://pdfjs.community/t/pdfjs-express-watermark-despite-licence-key-correct-domain/1592)

Best regards,
Kevin Kim
