**Which product are you using?** PDF.js Express Viewer **Detailed description of issue** Vertical text selection not working. **Expected behaviour** Vertical text selection should work, tried with PDF.js and PDFTron Viewer with the same documents and it does work properly. **Does your issue happen with every document, or just one?** Tried multiple documents, same behaviour. **Link to document** Can’t provide the document. **Code snippet** Tried on demo page. ---

Hello v.condratiev, Can you share screenshots of the current behaviour, and the expected behaviour? Hello Tyler, Yes, of course. So this is the actual text that I’m trying to select. ![image](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex031/uploads/pdfjscommunity/original/1X/1df763d0242f9bd07555a9670e77ce2a7ff356bb.png) I can’t select that vertical / sideways text. I noticed that this happens for all vertical/sideways text and it does not matter what document I use. If I try to open the file with PDF.js or PDFTron, this works properly. Best Regards, Vadim ---

Hello v.condratiev, Using test files on my end, which have sideways text, I am able to select them. I have a feeling this could be a file specific issue.
