Can I update and reused commend section to new functionality?

Good day,
Can I used the line and comment panel to new functionality, sample I would like to show in the right panel the highlighted text instead of the comment?

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting pdf.js express forums,

By default, highlighted annotation (or any text annotation such as strikeout/underline) will show the text underneath in the notesPanel:

However you cannot customize the line connecting the annotation to the notespanel
