Detailed description of issue
Hello Team,

I am trying to search text in PDF document that work has multiple instances in document. In most of the page searched text is not getting highlighted properly.

I tried same PDF and same search text. Its working fine in PDFTron and also in Mozilla PDF JS demo app (PDF.js viewer).

In PDFJS Express below is the output for “Exhibit” keyword

Hi there,

Text highlighting is a product of the core PDF.js library we use, and unfortunately we do not support issues involving the PDF.js library. Typically these highlight issues are document specific and are caused by bad text parsing from the PDF.js library.

Thanks!
Logan

Hi,
We’re experiencing exactly the same problem: wrong position of search term highlighting in PDFJS Express.
What is weird is that the same document loaded in pdf viewer from mozilla (PDF.js viewer), built with the same library under the hood, works just fine:

What could be the reason?

Also, it works fine in PDFTrone.

@Logan
We have the same problem.
Is there any workaround for this?
It seems like that pdfjs express broke what was working in pdf.js…?
