Detailed description of issue
When loading a PDF that contains hidden layers, the hidden layers are also displayed on the viewer. We can replicate this issue also on the online demo. We attach an example with a simple PDF with a hidden layer.

Expected behaviour
Hidden layers should not be displayed on the viewer.

Does your issue happen with every document, or just one?
Any document with hidden layers that we have tested.

Looks like there is a bug with the getter for the layers, we are investigating, thank you.

I see this issue was marked a resolved, but on your online demo the issue still persists. When can we expect a release with the solution?

thanks for the info. We have installed version 8.7.4 and the bug still persists. Can you share any info about on what version will the bug will be patched?

Hello isaac,

This is technically a feature request, as PDF.JS doesn’t fully support layers. We will add this to our backlog to be reviewed, however, we are limited by the exposed PDF.JS APIs here.
