PDFs not rendering some pages

PDF.js Express Version
7.0.0

Detailed description of issue
Hello, some pages on a PDF are not rendering and are showing up as a blank white page while others are visible. Please review the screenshot from the console. We are using cover facing page with continuous page.

Expected behaviour
PDF should display all pages correctly without issues.

Hey there!

Would you be able to share this document with us? It’s very hard for us to debug this kind of issue without a document.

Thanks,
Logan

The screenshot below shows page “color space” not correct like what is in the PDF document itself. It seems sometimes the pages do not display in the PDF viewer, just show a white blank page (and no, not the blank pages we have in place). The document in question is about 9mb and it looks like we can’t upload more than 4-5mb. We can’t share the URL since it requires authentication and a paid subscription to access. Is there any other way to give you the document?

Photo shows page 10 missing but page 9 and 11 are displaying properly, the original PDF has page 10.

Hey there!

Looks like this issue is being caused by that known bug I mentioned in the other thread - this will be fixed in our 7.2 release which we are prepping this week!

Thanks,
Logan

Great, please let us know when it is available and we will test it out.

Hey Logan,

Will this new release fix the page rendering and color issues or just one of them? We got another report about the color being off for a PDF. We do support back to Acrobat 1.5 because of industry standards in relation to printers.

Hi there, the fix will be for the missing pages bug.

The rendering color issues are related our core rendering engine, PDF.js, which we do not support.

We are just in the final testing stages of the new release, so it should be ready early next week!

Thanks,
Logan
