The viewer not displaying barcodes

Detailed description of issue
I am uploading PDF files using the viewer; however, it is not recognizing the barcodes. It shows the value but not the code. I saw that another person had a similar related bug, but I haven’t found a solution yet.
The situation is peculiar because when I open the PDF with the browser, the barcode is displayed; however, when it’s in the viewer, it doesn’t, and only its value is shown.
I am using version 8.7.4.
