Watermark appears when server is unresponsive

Detailed description of issue
We had a situation where PDF Express was unable to reach the server to verify our key. The viewer then loaded showing watermarks.

Expected behaviour
Perhaps a way it can check the api key multiple times before falling back to showing the watermark?
