Hello,
Since the free viewer does not support some features such as navigation using hyperlinks which is supported by the viewer of mozilla, is there any simple guide, something which can help people achieve such feature manually ?
I don’t honestly think this feature should have been stripped from the free version.
Unfortunately, this is not supported in the free version.
Please consider the pro version or the Apryse WebViewer for such features:
Best regards,
Kevin Kim
Is there no way to decouple this feature from the annotation module and have it as a seperate feature ?
Unfortunately, all of this is already predetermined by the packages and cannot be decoupled.
Is there any other way this could be done manually at least, to have some guidance ?
Any pointers as to how this much be achievable ?
Hi there,
While this isn’s supported, there are some links that can work if the full url is in text form. See this sample document for example
simplelink.pdf (10.3 KB)

Please keep in mind that I’m looking for hyperlinks which navigates you inside the document.
I’m not looking for external links or emails
The idea is to do a makeshift workaround to enable people with existing pdf documents to navigate from page to page inside their document.
I have a service which extracts the annotations of the pdf with its coordinates, but I have no idea on how to place em.
I’ve gone through the following documentation page Coordinates
but to no avail so I’m looking for some pointers on how to navigate this feature manually.
Thanks
Unfortunately, it looks like we disable annotations entirely on the free viewer. Please consider using the Apryse WebViewer or another solution if pdf.js does not work for you.
