Watermark Now Appearing in Viewer

Hi,

For the last few days, it’s been reported that users are seeing the pdfjs.express watermark in the VIEWER (we have a paid subscription). The resulting PDF generated through the API does not show the watermark, only within the viewer. Please advise on how we can troubleshoot and address this issue.

Thanks,

Mark

Hello crmdevelopment,

Are there any errors in the console?

Can you check the network tab on the browser as well for any failed requests?

Best regards,

Tyler

Hi Tyler,

In my tests there were no PDFjs related errors in the console and no failed requests in the network tab. Everything looks like its working with the exception of the watermark appearing.

Thanks,

Mark

Hello crmdevelopment,

Thank you for your reply, I reached out internally to review the logs. Everything is working fine, however it looks like there was a drop in your key’s usage Aug 15 - Aug 18th (0 requests made the Aug 16th and 17th)

This appears to be a client side issue, did you deploy a new version without the key? or make changes that may have used a testing key?

Best regards,
Tyler

Hi Tyler,

Thanks for the added details; we did deploy a chance around that timeframe related to the keys in use and it would appear that since that change, the license key in the payload has been blank for some reason (confirmed via network details in dev tools) which is more than likely responsible for the watermark. We’ll work on a solution internally and report back.

Mark

The license issue you identified ended up being to blame. Thanks for the assist getting us pointed in the right direction. We’re all set now.
